Someone
has set out an intellectual journey through the world to
find and know the Creator of the universe. After
traveling in the realms of kinds of creatures, he said
to himself: I am seeking the Creator and Owner of this
universe amidst these creatures. I should therefore
before all else visit Muhammad, upon him be peace and
blessings, and seek from him the answer to my quest. He
enters by imagination the blessed age of the Prophet
Muhammad, upon him be peace and blessings, and sees that
that era really was an era of happiness for mankind by
virtue of that being, who, as confirmed even by his
enemies, is the most blessed of the whole creation, the
greatest and the most accomplished commander, and the
most celebrated ruler among them, the most exalted in
speech and the most brilliant in intellect, and who has
enlightened fourteen centuries with his virtues and with
his Quran.

Who is the Prophet Muhammad?
Muhammad was born in Makkah in the year 570. Since his
father died before his birth and his mother died shortly
thereafter, he was raised by his uncle who was from the
respected tribe of Quraysh.
Legacy of a Prophet
Fourteen hundred years ago, a humble merchant who could
not read or write changed the face of Arabia. Today, his
influence has spread to every corner of the world
including the United States. This is the story...
Among
the Most Influential Persons in History
by Michael H. Hart
My choice of Muhammad to lead the list of the world's
most influential persons may surprise some readers and
may be questioned by others, but he was the only man in
history who was supremely successful on both the
religious and secular levels. Of humble origins,
Muhammad founded and promulgated one of the world's
great religions, and became
You must Know this Man
You may be an antheist or an agnostic; or you may belong
to any of the religious denominations that exist in the
world today. You may be a communist or a believer in
democracy and freedom. No matter what you are, and no
matter what your ideological and political beliefs,
personal and social habits happen to be - you must still
know this man.
Prophethood in Islam
Prophethood is not unknown to heavenly revealed
religions, such as Judaism and Christianity. In Islam,
however, it has a special status and significance.
A Guidance to Follow
Muhammad as a man had already died, but as a Prophet he
left behind him a legacy in the form of the Quran and
the Sunnah. He stressed the urgent need to hold firmly
to these two sources during his Farewell speech in the
valley of Arafat. If people hold fast to them, they will
never go astray.
Allah's Messenger to the Whole Mankind
Prophet Muhammad (r) (Salallahu alayhi wa salam,
meaning: May the peace and blessings of Allah I be upon
him) was Allh's great Prophet and Messenger like Jesus,
the Son of Mary. The Prophet's mission, however, is
universal. Allh (I) (Subhanahu wa taala, meaning: the
Exalted, Most Glorious) tells mankind that Prophet
Muhammad (r) is no more than a Messenger
The Best of Creation
The life of the Prophet (Peace and Blessings of Allah be
upon Him) has been said by his wife, Aisha (May Allah
(S) be pleased with her) to be like "a walking Qur`an",
embodying the Laws of Almighty Allah (subhaana wa
taalah).
The Coming of the Most Noble Messenger
With eyes as bright as the shining sun, a reality on the
lips more brilliant than the light of the sun, a heart
more fresh than the flowers of the gardens of Yathrib
and Taif, habits and morals more decent than the moon-
lit nights of the Hijaz

The True Religion
The first thing that one should know and clearly
understand about Islam is what the word "Islam" itself
means. The religion of Islam is not named after a person
as in the case of Christianity which was named after
Jesus Christ, Buddhism after Gotama Buddha, Confucianism
after Confucius, and Marxism after Karl Marx. Nor was it
named after a tribe like Judaism
A-Z of Islam
Islam is the complete submission and obedience to Allah
(God). The name Allah (God) in Islam never refers to
Muhammad (pbuh), as many Christians may think; Allah is
the personal name of God.What do Muslims believe about
Allah?
There is no God but Allah A way of Life for Muslims
"La llaha illa Allah, Muhammad Rasul Allah" -"There is
no god except Allah" - is the first part of the Islamic
declaration of faith, meaning that there is no one to be
worshipped except God; "Muhammad Rasul Allah" -
"Muhammad is the Messenger of God"- is the second part..
Message of Peace
A major part of the Prophets mission was to bring peace
to the world. One of the ways in which he strove towards
this end was to attempt to convince people that all men
and women, albeit inhabiting very different regions of
the world, and different from one another in color,
culture and language, et cetera, were in fact blood
brothers and sisters.
Instilling Brotherhood among Muslims
Sure, Islam isnt racist; almost any Muslim will tell
you that. But Islams very strong stance against racism
and prejudice wasnt just demonstrated in words and
principles: [O Mankind, We created you from a single
(pair) of a male and a female and made you into nations
and tribes, that you may know each other.
Honesty in Financial Dealings
Islam has stressed and asserted the importance of
honesty in monetary dealings and highlighted its vital
role in social stability and peacefulness. The Holy
Quran and Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) have made it clear to
us that the true Muslim is he who is honest and upright
in his business and monetary dealing with others, even
if they werent Muslims.
Moral System of Islam
Islam has laid down universal fundamental rights for
humanity as a whole, which are to be observed and
respected under all circumstances. To achieve these
rights Islam provides not only legal safeguards but also
a very effective moral system. Thus whatever leads to
the welfare of the individual or the society
Human Rights through the Lens of Islam
Contrary to popular belief, the struggle for universal
human rights is not a modern one. Although some claim
that human rights is a Western concept or ideology (1),
Islam was among the first institutions to advocate and
implement such human rights as universal equality and
women's rights.
Sword of islam
The first few who embraced the "new" religion in Makkah
in the Arabian Peninsula at the hands of the Prophet
were his wife Khadijah, his servant Zaid, and his eleven
year old cousin Ali. Among the ones who later joined
this faith were the honest merchant, Abu Bakr; the iron
man of Arabia, Umar the Great; the shy businessman,
Uthman; the Prophet's brave uncle, Hamza: and the slave
of a pagan, Bilal. They simply couldn't resist the
MAGIC SWORD of a humble and lonely Prophet!
What does Islam say about Terrorism?!
Islam, a religion of mercy, does not permit terrorism.
In the Koran, God has said:
"God does not forbid you from showing kindness and
dealing justly with those who have not fought you about
religion and have not driven you out of your homes. God
loves just dealers" [Koran 60:8]
Prophet Muhammad's Manners of Performing Prayer
The objective of this concise pamphlet is to explain how
prophet Mohammed (Peace and blessings of Allah be upon
him) used to perform his prayers. I would like to
present this explanation to every male and female Muslim
so that they may strive to take up the Prophet's manner
in performing their prayers as a model for them.

THE GENEROSITY OF GODS MESSENGER
Gods Messenger is, in the whole of creation, the
most polished mirror, in which God Almightys Names and

perfect manifestation of Gods Names and Attributes and
an embodiment of the Quran and Islam, he is the

THE
MODESTY OF GODS MESSENGER
In social life each man has a window called status
through which he looks out to see others and be seen. If
the window is built higher than his real stature, he
tries, through vanity and giving himself airs, to
stretch himself up to be seen taller than he really is.
If the window is set lower than his real stature, he
must bow in humility in order to look out, to see and be
seen.
MUHAMMADS CHARACTER AND HIGH MORALITY PROVE HIS
PROPHETHOOD
Muhammad was the humblest at the zenith of his
achievements
If a mans world-admired accomplishments or the wealth
and fame he has gained do not change him, if he can
remain as humble as he was at the beginning of his
career, this shows that persons strength of character,
morality and virtue. Despite his unparalleled
achievements, which force even his enemies to place him
at the top of the greatest men of human history, the
Prophet Muhammad, upon him be peace and blessings, was
poorer and more humble when he entered Makka
victoriously than he was at the beginning of his
mission.

THE
PROPHET AND HIS WIVES
The Prophet Muhammad, upon him be peace, is the most
excellent example as father and husband. He was very
kind and tolerant towards his wives. They could not
live, they could not envisage life, without him..
GODS MESSENGER AND CHILDREN
He treated his children and grandchildren with
extraordinary compassion and never neglected to direct
their faces to the Hereafter and towards good deeds. He
smiled at them, caressed and loved them, but he did not
allow them to neglect the matters related to their
afterlife. In worldly matters, he was extremely open

THE
REASONS BEHIND THE SEVERAL MARRIAGES OF THE PROPHET
MUHAMMAD
Some critics of Islam, either because they are not aware
of the facts about the marriages of the Prophet
Muhammad, upon him be peace, or because they are not
honest and objective about those facts, have reviled the
Prophet as a self-indulgent libertine. They have accused
him of character failings which are hardly compatible
with being of average virtue, let alone with being a
Prophet and Gods last Messenger and the best model for
all mankind to follow. However
A
Little about his wife Aisha
The life of Aishah is proof that a woman can be far
more learned than men and that she can be the teacher of
scholars and experts. Her life is also proof that a
woman can exert influence over men and women and provide
them with inspiration and leadership . Her life is also
proof that the same woman can be totally feminine and be
a source of pleasure, joy and comfort to her husband.
Why did Prophet Muhammad peace be upon marry young
Aisha?
Through the centuries, orientalists have advance
numerous accusations and far-fetched theories to
discredit Islam and its last Prophet, Muhammad (peace be
upon him). Praise be to Allah alone, all such
accusations have been successfully refuted by the
Muslims Ummah. Currently, one of the reinvented
accusations against the noble character of the Prophet
is about his marriage to young Aisha Siddiqa

THE
BLESSED COMPANIONS OF THE PROPHET
Muhammad is the Messenger of God, and those who are with
Him are hard against the unbelievers and merciful among
themselves. You see them bowing and falling prostrate
(in worship), seeking grace from God and (His) good
pleasure. The mark of them is on their foreheads from
the traces of prostration. Such is their likeness in the
Torah and their likeness in the Gospel--like as sown
grain that sends forth its shoots and strengthens it and
rises firm upon its stalk, delighting the sowers with
amazement -that He may enrage the unbelievers with (the
sight of) them. God has promised unto such of them as
believe and do good works, forgiveness and immense
reward. (Al-Fath, 48.29)

THE PROPHET MUHAMMADS LIFE PRIOR TO HIS MESSENGERSHIP
PROMISED HIS PROPHETHOOD
The extraordinary events took place on the night of
his birth. For example, most of the idols at the Kaba
toppled over; the palace of the Sassanid Emperor shook
and cracked, and its fourteen pinnacles collapsed; the
small lake of Sawa in Persia sank into the earth, and
the fire which was worshipped by the Magians at
Istakhrabad and had been lit continually for a thousand
years was extinguished. Together with these events, the
different character he displayed even in his childhood
and the meaningful signs men of insight observed on him
meant that he would undertake a great mission in future.
THE PROPHET MUHAMMADS LIFE FOLLOWING HIS PROPHETHOOD
If the Prophet Muhammad, upon him be peace and
blessings, had cherished selfish aims and intentions,
and if he had not been a Prophet chosen by God to guide
people into truth, he would not have had to wait until
he was forty to emerge with the claim of Prophethood.
MUHAMMADS CHARACTER AND HIGH MORALITY PROVE HIS

HIS ACHIEVEMENTS PROVE MUHAMMADS PROPHETHOOD
Prophet Muhammad, upon him be peace and blessings,
was peerless in educating people
A man, whoever he is and whatever he does, may regard
his own occupation as more important, more necessary,
more beneficial to social life and more difficult than
others. However, although every occupation has some
difficulty of its own and is of some degree of use for
social life, educating people must be much more
difficult than others and more necessary for a healthy
social life.

THE PROPHETS MADE A COMPREHENSIVE INVITATION TO GOD
There was no fragmentation or compartmentalization
in the way of the Prophets. They dealt with people and
life in a holistic manner and never ignored or neglected
any of mans faculties. They appealed to mans
intellect, reason, spirit and all his outer and inner
senses and feelings.
THE
METHOD OF CONVEYING THE MESSAGE
Constant, continual striving is not only an
essential feature of the delivering of the Message but
it is actually an important element of the Prophetic
method.
THE
CONSISTENT EFFORT OF GODS MESSENGER IN CONVEYING THE
MESSAGE
The communication of the Divine Message was the most
essential characteristic of Gods Messenger, upon him be
peace and blessings. We are troubled whenever we are
hungry or thirsty, or when we have difficulty in
breathing; but he was troubled if a day passed when he
could not find someone to whom he could convey the
Divine Message. He was so concerned about the guidance
of people, and so physically pained by unbelief, that
God advised him to be careful of his health, saying:
FURTHER REMARKS ON CONVEYING THE MESSAGE
An important point to take note of, regarding
communication of the Message by the Prophet, upon him be
peace and blessings, is that he set an excellent example
of ardour in the duty of guiding people. Like him, also
his Companions, following his way, tried their hardest
to convey the Message. For example,
THE PROPHETS PRACTICED WHAT THEY PREACHED
If a preacher desires his preaching to be effective
on people, he should practice what he preaches. One who
says what he does not do can hardly expect to succeed in
his mission. Actions speak louder than words. The Quran
is very explicit in this matter:
